Designed in 2001 for the 2002 New Zealand nationals, the original wooden 'Thrusterbuster' was like a cat among the pigeons, outrunning and outmaneuvering conventional longboards with ease in all conditions.
On steep takeoffs the board has slingshot like acceleration thanks to it's pronounced high lift nose rocker. Incredibly high lines are possible while carving accurate turns with perfect control even in the steepest and most powerful waves thanks to an extreme pintail and hybrid tunnel setup.
This board is one of the designer's favourite tools in all conditions from beachbreaks to ledging reefs and pointbreaks.
A totally pure and no compromise waveriding tool. A radical new longboard with roots in the eminently functional Dewey Weber gun, with the addition of a larger tunnel fin and a bulb tipped flex fin.
Only a few Power custom wooden surfboards are built each year, and each one is a unique work of art, at this price the board is a great investment as wooden surfboards have proven to go up in value over time.
